Goal: Increase party return rates during sorority recruitment.
Considering Miami’s competitive Greek landscape, the Sigma Alpha chapter of Chi Omega needed to differentiate itself from the 16 other sorority chapters. With deferred recruitment in January, potential new members have an entire semester to research and meet women from every chapter. It was imperative that Chi Omega had an online presence where first year females could learn more about our values and sisterhood.
Goal: Streamline attendance tracking
With over 200 members in Chi Omega, tracking each individual’s attendance and respective excuses for weekly chapter meetings or sisterhood/philanthropy events is quite taxing. Instead of emailing your excuse to the chapter’s secretary, I created an online excuse form. After inputting the appropriate data into each field, the women’s excuse would be recorded in an excel spreadsheet. With filters and spreadsheet search capability, this streamlined the secretary’s attendance management responsibilities. The excuse form’s ease of use and accessibility increased user engagement.
